Pete's Pet Posse

Pete’s Pet Posse (P3), OSU’s Pet Therapy Program, is self funded and stands as a cornerstone of the university’s commitment to being America’s Healthiest Campus®. P3 enriches the physical and emotional well-being of the entire OSU family. Our dedicated Pet Therapy teams serve in offices across campus, offering a warm, furry presence to students, faculty, and staff in need of a pick-me-up or support during stressful times. The daily presence of our P3 pups serves as a reassuring reminder that their well-being matters, and that they have a loyal friend ready to shower them with love and comfort.

What sets P3 apart is that each therapy dog is part of the families of employees and other affiliates of OSU. They reside with their humans, spend time in OSU offices, and regularly visit various locations across the university, adding a touch of brightness to our beloved orange. This remarkable program has extended its reach beyond Stillwater to OSU-Tulsa, OSU-OKC, OSU Center for Health Sciences, and the OSU College of Osteopathic Medicine Cherokee Nation in Tahlequah—the nation’s first tribally-affiliated medical school. Over 70 pet therapy teams serve OSU students, faculty, staff, and visitors system-wide.

Pete’s Pet Posse relies on generous donations to sustain its operations. Your contribution aids Pete’s Pet Posse in expanding its capacity to serve the entire OSU community. As the program continues to grow, new pet therapy teams are added each year. With your support, we can equip each team with the necessary supplies and assistance to provide this invaluable and impactful service to the university.

Will my PhilanthroPete gift be tax-deductible?

Yes. Each gift will receive a receipt for your contribution. If you selected a perk with an associated benefit, the fair-market value will be deducted from your gift when applicable. We generate a gift receipt and send it you for tax purposes usually within the week we receive your gift.

How can I double my donation?

Is it safe to make my gift online?

Yes! We use a digital certificate that authenticates the identity of a website and encrypts information that is sent to the server using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology. This prevents your personal or financial information from falling into the wrong hands.
