Pete's Pet Posse

Pete’s Pet Posse, OSU’s Pet Therapy Program, enhances the physical and emotional health of the entire OSU family. Teams serve in offices across campus to provide a friendly, furry face to students, faculty and staff who need a pick-me-up during the day or support during a stressful time. The daily presence of the P3 pups reminds everyone that their well-being is important, and they have a friend that is happy to shower them with love and comfort.

Each therapy dog belongs to OSU employees and others affiliated with OSU. They live with their humans, spend time in OSU offices and visit a variety of OSU locations regularly to make the university a little brighter orange. This incredible program has expanded beyond Stillwater to the OSU-Tulsa, OSU-OKC, the OSU Center for Health Sciences and the OSU College of Osteopathic Medicine Cherokee Nation in Tahlequah. Nearly 90 pet therapy teams serve our students, faculty, staff and visitors system wide.

Pete’s Pet Posse is self-funded and relies on donations to operate. Your gift helps Pete’s Pet Posse increase its capacity to serve the entire OSU community. The program continues to grow as new pet therapy teams are added each year. With your support, we can outfit each team with the supplies and support needed to provide this valuable and impactful service to our Cowboy family.

Will my PhilanthroPete gift be tax-deductible?

Yes. Each gift will receive a receipt for your contribution. If you selected a perk with an associated benefit, the fair-market value will be deducted from your gift when applicable. We generate a gift receipt and send it you for tax purposes usually within the week we receive your gift.

How can I double my donation?

Is it safe to make my gift online?
