Energy is at the heart of our work force, our economy and our environment. The Energy Communications Camp provides a hands-on learning opportunity for high school students to explore a career that combines the science of energy with the art of storytelling.
Students will explore questions, such as: What is energy? What is environmentalism? Are these two concepts at odds? What is sustainable energy? Is it the same thing as renewable energy? These are important questions that we all need to know. This select group of campers will have opportunities to not only investigate and find answers to these and other questions, but also learn how to communicate that information to specific audiences through media.
Your Gift Will Help…
Our campaign is specifically to raise funds for economically disadvantaged students to attend this resident camp at Oklahoma State University. Your gift, no matter the size, will help an aspiring energy communicator find answers to important questions for our future. The funds raised will be used to provide housing, food, and full camp attendance.
Gifts to this project through the OSU Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization, are tax deductible as allowed by law. If you have questions about your gift, please contact the OSU Foundation at 800.622.4678.
