Bridging Cultures, Building Community: ISO Crowdfunding

The International Student Organization (ISO) at Oklahoma State University brings students from around the world together while helping the broader OSU community experience and celebrate different cultures. We want to create a true home away from home for international students while building meaningful connections with American students, faculty, staff, and the Stillwater community.

Through this project, we will support some of ISO’s most meaningful and visible traditions, including our International Food Expo, OSU Homecoming Parade participation, cultural showcases, and International Graduation Celebration. These events give international students a space to proudly share their traditions, food, clothing, stories, and cultures while inviting the entire Cowboy community to participate.

As international students ourselves, we understand how important it can be to find community in a new country. Events like these help students feel welcomed, represented, and connected while also giving others the opportunity to learn from cultures they may not otherwise encounter. Our goal is not simply to host events, but to create experiences that bring people together and strengthen the sense of belonging across campus.

Funds raised through this project will help us cover event production and logistics, cultural displays, culinary supplies, outreach materials, and other essential costs. With this support, ISO can continue creating accessible, high-quality cultural experiences for students and the wider OSU community.

How will the OSU Foundation manage my information?

Information submitted to the Oklahoma State University Foundation shall be governed by its Privacy Statement.

Will my PhilanthroPete gift be tax-deductible?

Yes. Each gift will receive a receipt for your contribution. If you selected a perk with an associated benefit, the fair-market value will be deducted from your gift when applicable. We generate a gift receipt and send it you for tax purposes usually within the week we receive your gift.

How can I double my donation?

Is it safe to make my gift online?

Yes! We use a digital certificate that authenticates the identity of a website and encrypts information that is sent to the server using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology. This prevents your personal or financial information from falling into the wrong hands.
