There is a continuous need for student veteran funding at Oklahoma State University and we hope you'll become partners in our effort to ensure veteran students have more than enough resources available to complete their degree!
WHO WE ARE
Established in July 2015, the OSU Veteran Student Academic Services office aids the transition from military service to the classroom. Programs provide services and support, as well as creating greater recognition and awareness for veterans and military-affiliated students on campus. Training programs for faculty and staff create a culture of trust and connection across campus.
OUR PROJECT'S MISSION
OSU values the service of America's veterans and believes that veteran students serve as powerful role models throughout the campus environment. The mission of this project is to provide assistance to veteran students in any way possible. The types of expenses that may be covered include but are not limited to:
WHY SHOULD YOU SUPPORT OUR PROJECT?
Veterans are non-traditional students who have lived a non-traditional life style trying to acclimate into a college student role. They don't always have the support system at home, work history to obtain a job immediately or even savings account to be able to handle any unforeseen expenses. Supporting this project will allow the Veterans Affairs office the ability to better serve the veteran students at OSU. This financial assistance will help allow these students to continue their transition back into the classroom and help them finish their college dream!
A gift of this amount will help pay for household items like diapers, food and clothes.
A donation in this amount can be used to help pay for a tank of gas to get to school or an unexpected medical bill for a child.
Support of this amount can help pay cover a month of utilities, insurance or childcare.
This donation can help cover vehicle repairs to get the student to and from school and work, cover school supplies for their children or provide a months worth of meals to a new family.
A gift of this amount can fund a student getting to travel home for a family emergency, funeral or for the holidays.
A gift of this size could make a huge impact on helping a student complete their dream of graduating and getting their degree!
