The McKnight Center for the Performing Arts continues to live its mission even in the midst of uncertainty and unprecedented events: presenting socially distanced concerts, providing a virtual Young People’s Concert to 874 Stillwater Public Schools households, and generating online and in-person content such as Center Stage, Orange Plate Special, and Yoga on the Plaza, reaching approximately 27,000 people each month. Additionally, The McKnight Center has hosted four big-screen movie presentations to ring in the holiday season.
Apart from its own programming, the McKnight Center continues as a world-class venue for Greenwood School of Music concerts and socially-distanced events for campus and community groups, hosting 107 safe, socially responsible events this fall alone.
Our work is made possible by the generosity of all those who recognize the vital role of the performing arts in our society, and today we’d like to ask for your support. Help us keep the performing arts alive and vibrant until it’s safe for us all to gather again.
