KOSU is one of 15 stations chosen after a national competition to incubate storytelling experiments and expand public media to more Americans. In Oklahoma, independent producer Allison Herrera and KOSU’s Content Director Rachel Hubbard created Invisible Nations, exploring modern Native culture in the state. Through public engagement, partnerships and experimentation through video, radio and other multi-media outlets, Invisible Nations will bring Native voices and stories to a larger audience.
We’re asking you to join us in telling stories of modern Native culture to more Americans by making a gift to our project. Your gift, no matter the size, will help to greater share the Native American experience in Oklahoma by allowing KOSU to examine history, present day events and stories hidden in plain sight and distribute them across our airwaves, social media channels, website and beyond.

This includes the issues they face today, their past, connection and history in Oklahoma, artists and cultural events and people in those communities doing incredible things-large and small.
Your contribution to this Oklahoma State University PhilanthroPete project will be managed and receipted through the OSU Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization. Contributions are fully tax deductible unless otherwise indicated in the project rewards section.
With your gift of support, you will receive an Invisible Nations and an I 'Heart' KOSU bumper sticker to show your support for this project and KOSU.
