Our Crowdfunding Groups
We are the 2022 Oklahoma State University National Student Advertising Team, which is an advertising competition for college students who are American Advertising Federation members. This competition is held every spring and is able to give college students exposure and experience by working for a corporate client. Team members create a strategic advertising, marketing and media campaign every year for a corporate client who issues a case study explaining the background information on the company. The students involved will research the product, will identify possible problem zones and will conduct a campaign for the client. The team must meet certain deadlines within the time frame they are given and will present their campaign to a panel of judges during the spring of 2022. Every AAF college chapter has the opportunity to form a team for the National Student Advertising Team (NSAC) and is split up into 15 regions based on the school’s location. Each team participates by competing in the district level and have the option to compete virtually or in-person. Winning teams from every district are then able to move on to the semi-finals where the teams compete for one of eight positions at the finals where their campaign will be presented to a panel of judges. The judges include professionals who have worked within the communications industry. This year’s client is MetaQuest, formerly known as Oculus. The division produces virtual reality headsets. With donor support, our team will be able to travel to competition destinations to compete in the 2022 competition.
