The Oklahoma State University Symphony Orchestra, Jazz Orchestra, and Spirit Vocal Ensemble were all selected to perform at the 2022 Oklahoma Music Educators Association Conference in Tulsa. Selection to perform at OkMEA is considered to be prestigious and provides our students with a platform to showcase their musical talent and hard work to public school music teachers, prospective students, music enthusiasts, and the public at large. The Greenwood School of Music is extremely proud to have three large ensembles selected to perform in the same year, which speaks to the current strength of the program.
The OSU Jazz Orchestra concert is scheduled on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame. The OSU Symphony Orchestra and Spirit of OSU Vocal Ensemble concerts are scheduled on Friday, January 21, 2022 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel.
Every contribution makes an impact! For your gift, we will recognize you in our concert program at the President's Masterworks Concert on April 14.
Your contribution sponsors the cost of meals for one of our student musicians for the entire day of the conference performance. Supporters at this level will be recognized during our annual President's Masterworks Concert in the McKnight Center Performance Hall on April 14.
Performance opportunities outside of Stillwater create professional experiences for OSU students and help to showcase the excellent teaching and music-making that is taking place in the Greenwood School of Music. Performance Sponsors will be recognized on the shared OkMEA programs used by the OSU Symphony Orchestra, OSU Jazz Orchestra, and Spirit of OSU Vocal Ensemble.
All Greenwood School of Music ensembles are available to all OSU students by audition and include students from all majors throughout the University. GSM faculty are extremely proud to serve students from every college on campus. Our program supporters allow us to create memorable opportunities for our students that will last a lifetime. We will express our gratitude to Leading Sponsors by listing them on the printed OkMEA programs. We also recognize all Leading Sponsors during our annual President's Masterworks Concert, which is scheduled in the McKnight Center Performance Hall on April 14.
The Grand Sponsorship underwrites all associated expenses for the OkMEA performances for all OSU ensembles. Selection to perform at OkMEA is considered to be prestigious and provides our students with a platform to showcase their musical talent and hard work to public school music teachers, prospective students, music enthusiasts, and the public at large.
