We are so excited to share that we’ve been working with the Waginen team in the Netherlands! They’ve been apart of the iGEM competition for over 10 years now and were also previously working on a methane project! With their help, the Okstate iGEM team now has plasmids and can hit the ground running in the laboratory!
Our officers have been busy recruiting new members and talking to individuals at OSU about our project! We’re especially excited to have recruited a very special Oklahoma state member to join our club!
We had our 3rd whole team meeting for the semester on November 1st! We talked about all the progress we’ve made on philanthropete and made group decisions regarding our dry lab project and how we wanted to get involved in the community! We also had a special guest visitor as Dr. Babu Fathepure from the Microbiology and Molecular Genetics department came to speak with us about our project!

There are more than 350 competing iGEM Teams from around the world!
This donation would provide an entrance ticket to the Grand Jamboree for one student
