Our Crowdfunding Groups
The wakeboard team at Oklahoma State University is a student-run group of highly motivated and hard-working athletes. Throughout the year our group will host practices, travel across the country to competitions, attend school events, and host team-building activities. Currently having around 60 active members our group has established a close connection with each other. We enjoy coaching each other and helping everyone grow in the sport and have an enjoyable time out on the water.
Our boat is the backbone of our club and is what allows us to practice, compete, and continue to grow. We have been incredibly grateful to the sponsors and donors who have allowed us to purchase our previous boats and recognized their impact on our team. Striving to always improve and wanting the best opportunities for our members we host practice twice a day every weekday, mornings, and evenings. As a result, our boat goes through lots of use every year. This fundraiser is critical for our team to be able to reserve a new boat for the upcoming year.
The goal of this fundraiser is to be able to raise the money to put a down payment on a new boat. If we are able to raise enough money this will allow us to place an order for a new boat that would arrive in 2023. This would allow our team to have a new and reliable boat for the years to come. Our current marina sponsor is excited to work with us once we raise the necessary funds in order to start the financing process. We are optimistic about our past fundraising and this project we will have the funds needed to make this a possibility.
We are incredibly grateful to each one of our donors and sponsors. We would not be able to do anything that we do if it was not for them. Our team has provided so many great opportunities and memories to our members. We hope that we will be able to continue this in the future. This fundraiser is a huge step for our team and we are so excited about the impact it will have on our future.
