Welcome to the Association for Women in Communications' PhilanthroPete fundraiser!
The Association for Women in Communications (AWC) is a national organization that strives to support young women as they navigate the professional realm of communications. Seven female journalists created AWC in 1909 and over 100 years later, AWC is still committed to its mission to provide opportunities for women to flourish.
At Oklahoma State, our student chapter proudly encourages this mission. AWC is dedicated to celebrating our differences, expanding our knowledge, and guiding each other to success. We are dedicated to empowering our members to rise as leaders in their communities. With your help, we can accomplish this goal!
How You Can Help
The COVID-19 pandemic affected both our membership and our funds. We need your help as we rebuild.
As we continue to grow, we want to provide our members with career-shaping opportunities. Your support will help our student members:
We also recognize that access to these opportunities should be available to everyone, and plan to use our fund to provide needed scholarships for students who otherwise could not participate.
Most importantly, your donation will provide young OSU women an enriching experience, preparing them to thrive in their professional careers. Thank you for supporting the Association for Women in Communications!
Help cover the cost of travel to help our members grow their professional networks.
