Paving a New Path to a New Century - 100 Years of Agronomy Club

The OSU Agronomy Club was founded in 1923. Throughout its 100 years the club has flourished and evolved. Our members are taken to new heights and experiencing greater challenges. We want all club members to have the opportunity to receive information about of career paths and keep them informed in the ever-changing agriculture industry. Our club has recently taken away the member dues in order to give all members an equal opportunity for success, funds raised will help us continue our mission.

The mission of the OSU Agronomy Club is to promote fellowship, leadership and educational opportunities among agronomists. The official club of the Plant and Soil Sciences Department that seeks to increase the knowledge of agronomy through industry leaders, professionals and student involvement. We participate in campus wide and community wide activities, attend national and regional conferences while fostering a family of like-minded individuals seeking to make a difference. Our overall goal is to teach our members how to care for the land and leave the world better than we found it.

The funds raised through this project are going to give travel scholarships to students attending our National SASES Meeting in St. Louise Missouri this fall!
