Support Student Media at OSU
About Student Media at Oklahoma State
Student Media at Oklahoma State University is a group of student-run communications companies. We offer students the chance to work through college while they gain real-world experience in journalism, radio, television, podcasting, sales, marketing and public relations. Students are in charge of handling everything from content creation to business management, making the experience akin to the professional world. Our individual groups are:
- The O'Colly, OSU's independent student newspaper since 1895
- Orange House Marketing and Communications
- O'Colly Advertising, the sales branch of our editorial products
- Bullet Broadcast, a weekly television news broadcast
- KXZY Student Radio
- The O'Cast, a suite of podcasts on news, pop culture and sports
- The O'Zone, a sports and pop culture blog
Student Media works. Our graduates enjoy a high job placement rate and are among the most awarded student journalists and marketers in the state and nation.
Student Media Changes Lives
Student Media is dedicated to providing opportunities for students passionate about journalism and communications. We want to take advantage of as many extra-curricular activities and off-site educational events as possible. Over eight weeks, our goal is to raise $10,000 for student travel opportunities, computer upgrades and equipment purchases.
Your Gift Provides Opportunity
We need to your help to continue. Your donations provide for student travel to journalism and business conferences, computer upgrades and equipment renewals. Whether we're sending sports journalists to Nashville to learn from ESPN sideline reporters, or making sure our graphics students have the latest technology to create incredible visuals, your donation counts! Please give today.
Gifts to this project through the OSU Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization, are tax deductible as allowed by law. If you have questions about your gift, please contact the OSU Foundation at 800.622.4678.
