Hello!
Welcome to the Philanthropete site for OSU's American Indian Science and Engineering Society! We exist to support Native STEM students at OSU by providing education events, bringing in professional speakers, and attending the AISES National Conference every year.
Just in the past year, we have held events such as attending a tour of the First Americans Museum in OKC, brought in speakers from American Airlines, Valero, and others, and educated our members, many of whom are freshman and sophomores, about research and grad school by hosting an event with CAS Research, OK-LSAMP, and the McNair Scholars program.
Our biggest event, however, is attending the AISES National Conference. This October, our members will travel to Spokane, Washington where they will be able to attend research presentations, educational seminars, and the largest Native STEM career fair in the country. Every year, we have multiple members presenting research, and event more who leaves the event with internship and job opportunities. This is an invaluable part of being a member of OSU AISES, and we hipe to continue to send many members in the future.
By supporting us, you will help us to continue to grow and put on meaningful, impactful events. We value all of our donors and hope you have the means and opportunity to support AISES and all of our members.
This donation will help us continue day-to-day operations such as food, materials, and merchandise.
This donation will allow us to purchase materials and supplies for one of our meetings, such as a beading demonstration or game night.
This donation will allow us to purchase food for our members during a general meeting.
This donation will allow us to plan a larger event for our members, such as an educational trip to the First Americans Museum in OKC or a social event to Incredible Pizza in Tulsa.
This donation will allow one of our members to attend the AISES National Conference, which happens every October. As a chapter, we pay for dedicated member's airfare, lodging, and registration to ensure they can make the trip at least once while in college.
This donation will go a long way in helping the OSU AISES chapter plan and host the AISES Region 4 Conference next semester.
This donation will allow us to buy food, sponsor events, and plan exciting activities for an entire year!
