Cantamus Camerata is a premier treble chamber choir of the Michael and Anne Greenwood School of Music at Oklahoma State University. We are so excited to go to London and Wales! We have been invited to collaborate with Argentinian composer, Martín Palmeri, in Residence at Vox Anima of London as the featured ensemble at Cadogan Hall, perform concerts in multiple historic cathedrals in the UK, and compete in the Choir of the World Competition in Wales. Having only been established last year, we are proud of what we have accomplished thus far and we are ecstatic to have the opportunity to perform and compete overseas!
Our mission statement is: Cantamus Camerata exists to empower each member to be the best version of themselves as an individual, musician, and member of humanity. We strive to hone our craft to the highest caliber possible, to communicate musically with each other and our audience, to share healing through music, to be ambassadors of positivity, to celebrate the music of all peoples and cultures, and to be examples of light in the world.
We are 19 talented women with a passion for music and want to share it with others in hopes of healing, celebrating music, and bringing light. The community has provided so much support. We are incredibly grateful to the Stillwater community and beyond for their generosity. We hope that you too can hear our wonderful choir and choose to support our efforts to go to London and Wales this summer!
