CEAT Summer Engineering Adventure - Ardmore, OK Community

Oklahoma State University College of Engineering, Architecture, and Technology (CEAT) K-12 STEM Program's mission is to develop and cultivate a sustainable educational ecosystem that trains a diverse, world class STEM workforce in the state of Oklahoma and surrounding states. Our goal and objective includes encouraging and impacting all teachers and K-12 populations with STEM project based learning principles and to promote that "Engineering is Everywhere". 

CEAT K-12 has had the opportunity to work with the Ardmore, OK Community and surrounding areas with the continued support of the Goddard Foundation to provide Engineering Adventure Summer camp(s) to kindergarten thru fifth grade children in Ardmore and the surrounding communities. The camps have had an overwhelming response from the schools, boys and girls clubs, friends, and families which has allowed them to be a huge success for the community.

OSU CEAT’s Engineering Summer Adventure Camps present kids kindergarten through fifth grades with the opportunity to build an interest and love for STEM education. Students are provided with hands-on instruction and activities that get them thinking and working like engineers. 

Camps offer great resources and opportunities for kids, including:
 • Group projects that require leadership and teamwork
• Lessons that teach the importance of cooperation, division of labor and accountability, and engineering design principles with interactive and fun hands-on projects
 • Hands-on instruction from current CEAT and Education students under the supervision of CEAT faculty and staff
 • Exposure to STEM learning in a fun, interactive environment

We invite you to partner with us to continue bringing an OSU CEAT Engineering Summer Adventure Camp to the Ardmore community. We have provided this camp in the past to the Ardmore community through amazing donors, and we want to keep it going in 2024. as a sponsor you would provide local children the opportunity to be fully immersed in all that STEM education has to offer. 

 The camp(s) strive to teach and present hands-on activities that are fun and memorable, but also impactful to capture the kids' minds and imaginations.

The Summer Adventures will happen in Ardmore, OK for up to 100 students based upon amount earned. Donations will allow every future engineer, architect, and technologist this valuable experience, regardless of their family’s finances.
