For many years, the osteopathic students at OSU College of Medicine have gathered together to celebrate at the end of the calendar year. What began as a celebration of success many years ago has now become a party with a purpose - to raise funds for students who find themselves in emergency situations out of their control, and students who exemplify the character and success of the late Abbey Renner.
Every December, osteopathic medical students (OMS) years 1 and 2 gather to celebrate the successes of one another through academia, research, and personal achievements such as marriages, births, and more. The party, known to students as the Med Gala, is looked forward to all year long. OMS-II students plan and execute the event, all while completing their medical school studies concurrently. This year, the OMS-II students are soliciting the help of donors like you to help us be more purposeful in that "party" - while this purpose is near and dear to our hearts, we want to reach out to donors like you - whether former OSU D.O. students yourselves, employed now by OSU Medicine, or connected to OSU Medicine in any sort of way - in an effort to expand our ability to provide for fellow students.
Your donations will be split amongst these funds and will be tax-deductible. We thank you for all that you do to support the Osteopathic Students at the Cherokee Nation in Tahlequah and at the CHS Campus in Tulsa.
