The OSU Swim Club has restarted after years of being defunct, and we're now in our second semester as a club! as our membership continues to climb and we continue to grow as a club in regards to size we need funds in order to attend meets, host practices, buy and supply merchandise/gear and host our bi-annual swim clinic!
Our hope as a club is to provide a team environment to anyone interested in the sport of swimming, regardless of experience or skill level. In addition to that we hope to bring a bigger aquatic presence to Oklahoma State, and the community of Stillwater as whole. In order for us to accomplish these goals and grow as a club we have to rely on philanthropy, as we don’t have resources in store to properly function at the level we should be.
Lane rentals cost the club $18 per lane per hour, with this donation we'll be able to afford a space for practice!
The shortest, fastest (and maybe most fun) race in swimming is the 50 freestyle, this level is in honor of the splash and dash that is the 50 free!
OSU had a NCAA swim team up until 1978 when the program was cut, this level is in honor of the OSU Swim Team.
The OSU Swim Club plans to run a swim clinic every semester in order to help the community stay water aware, the cost of doing one of these clinics is $324.
The College Club Swimming nationals are our biggest and last meet of the year! Clubs from all across the nation come to race, with up to 1600 swimmers attending and completing. This level is in honor of that.
As the Colvin pool is decommissioned, the OSU Swim Club practices at the Stillwater YMCA. The flat rate for pool usage across the semester is $3500, donations at this level would allow us to practice for a full semester!
