Bullet is a very special component to every home football game. As the announcer yells “Here Comes Bullet!” every fan, football player, and TV viewer celebrates with cowboy pride! To the Spirit Team and Cowboy fans, Bullet represents the cowboy way for Oklahoma State University. He represents values such as working hard, taking risks, and perseverance each time he runs out onto Boone Pickens field, or lights up the smile of a young cowboy fan.
Behind the scenes of each football game, is a group of hardworking students and individuals, including 7 Spirit Team members, our Coach Jennifer Roberts, and several volunteer veterinarians. These individuals put in the daily work of caring for Bullet, his tack, trailer, truck, and travel. The Spirit Rider Team takes great pride in protecting and caring for our school’s mascot Bullet, and through this project we hope to improve our team and its abilities.
Keeping Bullet on the road to football games and events requires many hours of driving to the ranch where he resides, daily grooming, riding, and practicing. Our tack, feed, trailer, gas, and clothing are what keep the Spirit Rider program on the road and available to the cowboy community. As a team, we want to improve our outreach into the community and our care and resources on and off the football field for Bullet, and we need your help!
Your donations will increase budget support for travel and expenses, supply team members clothing, Bullet's tack (saddles, saddle pads, bridles, boots, etc.), and truck and trailer upgrades! By donating to Bullet and The Spirit Rider Team, you can help us improve this special program, Bullet’s care, resources, and outreach while leaving this program better than we found it!

$25 provides grooming supplies for Bullet such as brushes, soap, and fly spray!
$50 supplies one pair of the protective boots Bullet wears on gameday and during practice!
$100 provides farrier services for Bullet. He requires a farrier service once every 6 weeks to keep his hooves healthy and trimmed.
$200 provides a pair of jeans and a couple of shirts to a team member.
$500 will provide tack upgrades for Bullet to wear on OSU Gamedays! Tack such as a headstall, breast collar, reigns, cinches, etc...!
$700 will provide a pair of custom OSU chaps for a Spirit Rider to wear on Gamedays!
$1000 will provide maintenance for the truck and trailer that hauls our mascot Bullet down the road!
$2500 could go towards getting a new truck or trailer wrap for the rig that hauls our beloved mascot down the road!
$5000 can go towards our goal of purchasing a truck specifically for hauling Bullet and his trailer!
