Fall 2024- Latin American Student Association

The Latin American Student Association (LASA) is a vibrant student organization committed to celebrating and promoting Latin American culture, heritage, and diversity at Oklahoma State University. Our mission is to create a welcoming and inclusive space for students of Latin American backgrounds, as well as allies, to engage in cultural exchange, education, and advocacy. Through events such as cultural festivals, social gatherings, educational workshops, and community service projects, we aim to foster a deeper understanding of Latin American traditions and issues. LASA also serves as a supportive network, providing mentorship and resources to help members thrive academically, socially, and professionally. By collaborating with other student organizations and campus departments, we strive to raise awareness of Latin American contributions to society and address important topics like immigration, social justice, and representation. LASA is open to all students who are passionate about celebrating and learning from Latin American cultures.
