Help The Thunderbird Squadron of Arnold Air Society Attend NATCON

Arnold Air Society is a professional, honorary, service organization for AFROTC cadets across the nation. The Thunderbird Squadron of Arnold Air Society has served the Stillwater community since 1950, with a plethora of community service events over both the Fall and Spring semesters. The Thunderbird Squadron typically carries out candidacy for new members in the fall, with a few community events such as volunteering with veterans on Veterans Day and cleaning out 'Adopt a Highway' segment on 6th street. The spring is focused on fundraising and coordinating larger events such as food drives and volunteering with Stillwater Humane Society, Our Daily Bread, and Tiny Paws. We currently have 11 candidates and 6 active members.

The Thunderbird Squadron of Arnold Air Society here at Oklahoma State University is raising money to send members of our squadron to Atlanta, Georgia for a 4 day national conference next spring. The National Conclave, commonly referred to as NATCON, is an annual multi-day conference where members of Arnold Air Society and our sister organization Silver Wings meet to vote on legislation, network with distinguished guest speakers and 2,200+ students from around the U.S., and gain opportunities to contribute to the future of our organization. Our squadron is aiming to send 8 active members this year, the highest we’ve sent in the past 15 years!
