The Oklahoma State Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow (ACT) Club is set to host The National ACT Professional Development Conference (PDC) on January 16-19, 2025. This is a premier event held annually for agricultural communications students from across the nation. PDC is a three-day conference that provides a platform for students to immerse themselves in a variety of opportunities aimed at advancing their professional and personal growth in the agricultural communications industry. This national opportunity will be fully planned and funded by the OSU ACT Chapter and will be an opportunity to display the Department of Agricultural Education, Communications and Leadership within the Ferguson College of Agriculture.
The funds raised through PhilanthroPete will be used to put on the National ACT PDC Conference, covering a range of expenses. This includes booking keynote speakers, catering meals and refreshments for attendees, and providing printed materials to enhance the conference experience. Additionally, funds will be allocated for securing a suitable venue, creating engaging decorations to set the tone of the event, and covering any other necessary logistics to ensure the conference runs smoothly and successfully.
