Since 1950, ASHRAE OSU Student Branch has been a hub of collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and growth. We've empowered countless students, fostered innovative ideas, and built a legacy of excellence in the HVAC&R field. Our mission is to attract future researchers and keep them connected with industry partners. We consistently seek new opportunities for our student members through- 

• Introduce HVAC field, ASHRAE,  and CIBS to undergraduate students
• Stay connected to industry and our regional chapters
• Organize informative sessions - Callouts -  on scholarships, grants and career
• Organize industry tours for students and faculties
• Support student trips to ASHRAE conferences and expos
• Invite guest speakers and organize workshops for student members

Through these activities, we engage young researchers in ASHRAE's vision to advance human well-being through sustainable technology in the built environment. Carson McKinney, one of the undergraduate researchers in the HVAC&R field at OSU, shared his experience with ASHRAE OSU Student Branch-

"OSU ASHRAE student branch has helped me out in multiple aspects of my college and professional career. ASHRAE has helped me get involved in undergraduate research and explore that side of academics. It has helped me network and meet more students and faculty in the department, along with industry professionals. Also, it has helped me secure a summer internship after my first year in college."
