The OSU Wake Club is committed to providing students with an exciting and accessible way to experience the thrill of wakeboarding. However, as with any high-impact water sport, our gear undergoes significant wear and tear. To keep our club running safely and efficiently, we need donations to replace essential equipment like wakeboards, bindings, ropes, life jackets, and other necessary gear.
By contributing, you’re helping us ensure that every member—whether a beginner or an experienced rider—has access to high-quality, safe, and reliable equipment. This not only enhances the overall experience but also allows us to continue fostering a supportive and inclusive community for OSU students who share the same passion for watersports.
Additionally, maintaining top-tier gear helps us remain competitive in collegiate wakeboarding events, attracting new members and growing the club’s presence. Your support directly impacts our ability to provide the best possible experience for our riders and keep OSU Wake Club thriving. Every donation, big or small, helps us stay afloat—both on and off the water!
Lake Carl Blackwell requires the club to pay for parking for individual vehicles.
The club needs new life jackets to make sure we are staying safe out on the water.
We need a variety of sizes for wetsuits. We currently have a one size fits all, but most people end up buying their own. The current one we have also has a couple of holes, so it is not very warm.
This includes ropes, Life Jackets, Boat gas, and new boards. This would also allow the club to buy new types of boards for members to get a wide overview experience with different types of boards.
