All About Us!
We are Cowboy Bass Fishing-
The Oklahoma State Bass Fishing Team is a legacy college fishing program, with national championships in 2012 and 2019. As of this year, our membership has expanded drastically to 50+ members. Bass fishing is our team's uniting passion. This passion takes us nationwide, with tournaments from California to Maryland. We are striving to secure our ability to tournament fish effectively for many years to come, as well as strengthen our team now. We thank you for your help with that!
Tournaments-
As a team, we fish multiple tournament trails, including the Oklahoma Bass Nation College series, Association of Collegiate Anglers series, Bassmaster College series, Collegiate Bass Trail of Texas, and the Major League Fishing College Series.
Alumni-
Oklahoma State Fishing has some heavy-hitting Alumni such as Zack Birge (MLF Pro) and James Elam (MLF Pro).
So far this season!
This past season was a great one for our anglers. On the Collegiate trail, Austin Russell and Kaden Abmeyer placed second at the Lake of the Arbuckles in August. Nevan Osburn placed second on the Potomac River in early September and 5th on Lake of the Arbuckles.

Homecoming-
Cowboy Fishing will have a wrapped boat in the Sea of Orange Homecoming Parade during America's Greatest Homecoming! We will also have a booth set up during Walkaround. Come say hi and buy a hat!
Alumni Fundraiser Tournament-
September of 2025 saw the first edition of our alumni fundraiser tournament! Stay tuned for the next rendition in the spring of 2026!

Help us keep the baits our anglers need in their boat to win tournaments! This donation will help us buy about 3 bags of bait for an angler.

Tournament costs
Fishing tournaments aren't easy on the body or the wallet. The combination of gas, lodging, and entry fees can make a competition cost 500 dollars. This donation sends a team to a competition with all those expenses covered!

Boat Wraps
Bass Fishing is all about presenting your team to the world. Boat wraps are one of the biggest ways that we do that. However, these boat wraps are not cheap. This donation will help pay for half of a boat wrap. Who doesn't want to look good out on the water? After all, you look good, you fish good!

Season Expenses for the team!
If you want to allow us to fish for an entire semester and not have to worry about the cost of sending our whole team to tournaments, this is the donation for you. This would set us up for an entire semester without us having to dip into any of our savings accounts, while maximizing the representation of Cowboy Fishing all over the nation!
