Tech for Tails: A Campus-Driven TNR Initiative
Tech to Tails: A Campus Clowder Crusade
In rural communities like ours, we know the heartbreak of finding animals dumped by people who see them as disposable. They are often sick, injured, and multiplying faster than we can feed them. I’ve watched countless cats and kittens wander into my neighborhood, drawn by kindness and kibble. But kindness alone isn’t enough.
A male cat can father dozens of kittens per year if left unneutered. One female cat can produce over 180 kittens in her lifetime. Without intervention, the cycle continues—more suffering, more disease, more heartbreak. That’s why I joined the Tech to Tails TNR Initiative: to trap, neuter, vaccinate, and return these cats to safe, stable colonies on campus. With your help, we’ll provide shelters, feeding stations, and initial vet care to improve their lives and protect our campus cats. And sometimes...they are adopted!
This isn’t just about cats—it’s about compassion, community, and doing the right thing. Every dollar helps us snip the problem at the source and give these animals a chance at a healthier, safer life. Whether you're a Pawtection Purrtner or a full-blown Clowder Chancellor, every dollar helps us snip the problems and save the paws. We can do this together—one paw at a time! Will you join us?
