OSU Horns to the 2026 MidSouth Horn Workshop
The Mid-South Horn Workshop is a yearly regional workshop where horn students, teachers, and enthusiasts come together to perform, learn, present, and compete, It is a chance to meet guest artists, other horn professors and horn studios from surrounding states and to hear world-class performances. Our presence at these workshops has shaped the OSU studio and have inspired students year after year.
It is a big expense to travel to the Mid-South Horn Workshop. This spring it will be hosted at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas from March 12-14. There are 24 students in the horn studio we we are raising money to help with registration fees, hotel accommodations, and travel expenses. Experiences like these workshops have given our students something to work for whether they are future educators or performers and playing as a studio has created unique and beautiful memories.
