Halfway Update

November 11, 2025

We are halfway done with PhilanthroPete! We have just under 3 weeks left for out project, and are at 44% of our goal. Please consider donating to our project to support our members attending conference. If you are unable to donate we completely understand, but ask that you would still share our project with others who might be able to. Our chapter relies entirely on donations to continue year after year, so every little bit counts.

Thank you to all of our donors for your support so far! You mean the world to us.

Go Pokes!

We need your help!

November 03, 2025

Flying Cowgirls Supporters,

Thank you for taking the time to view our PhilanthroPete project! In 14 days we have been able to raise $440 to support our chapter members attending WAI Conference. We are extremely thankful for these generous contributions, but we need more donations if we are going to reach our goal of fully funding our members' expenses for conference. Please consider donating to our project! We are truly grateful for every donation of any amount.

Blue Skies and Tailwinds,

Abby Yates

$20.20

OSU - WIA since 2020

In honor of our chapter's recognition by Women in Aviation International in the year 2020, your gift will help support our members in attending the International Conference in 2026.

$50

Banquet Ticket

$50 is the average cost of a ticket to the annual WAI Hall of Fame Banquet held at the end of each conference. Your donation will be used by students attending the conference!

$115

115 Years of Female Aviators

Women have made a significant contribution to aviation since the Wright Brothers' first flight. In 1911, Harriet Quimby took to the skies as the first licensed female pilot, and we celebrate her accomplishments through this donation. As a chapter, we continue to push boundaries as she did!

$250

Fully Funded Ticket

A student ticket to attend the annual Women in Aviation Conference costs $250. This gift will be used to sponsor a ticket.

$500

Hotel Room

$500 is the average cost of a room to stay on property for one night at the Gaylord Texan in Dallas, TX. As a chapter, it is our goal to raise enough money to provide rooms for all our members. Your gift will greatly contribute to this effort.

$1,000

Sponsor a Student

This donation would cover the minimum average cost for one member to attend WAI Conference. With housing, food, and transportation, the numbers tend to grow quickly. Your gift will be put toward the overall costs of attending.
