Phi U’s Alpha Nu Chapter aims to build stronger community through service initiatives in Stillwater.
Phi Upsilon Omicron is a prestigious honor society for the top students in select majors within the College of Education and Human Sciences. Its members are committed to combining academic excellence with meaningful service, working to make a difference both on campus and in the wider Stillwater community. Through volunteerism and philanthropy, Alpha Nu Chapter members live out Phi U’s mission of promoting lifelong learning, leadership, and service.
This year, Phi U will take on several key service initiatives. Members will partner with the Humane Society to volunteer their time and provide needed donations that directly support animal welfare. They will also organize a Christmas Toy Drive for Wings of Hope, helping ensure that children and families in crisis experience joy and comfort during the holiday season. For the spring semester, Phi U plans to launch #StillwaterStrong Day, a new initiative designed to commemorate and serve firefighters and other emergency personnel who fought in our time of need on March 14th, 2025.
