Week Five - Project Student-Made

November 21, 2025

We’re entering Week Five of Project Student-Made and remain at $4,400 raised toward our $10,000 goal. We’re incredibly grateful for the support received so far, and with one week left, every share and every gift can still make a meaningful impact for our student entrepreneurs.

This semester, 15 OSU student creators have earned $6,000 through their handmade products. Thanks to donor generosity, these students are gaining real-world experience—learning how to budget, brand, design, and bring their ideas to life.

Student voices truly show the impact of this program:
“I have always wanted to start a small business on the side and thanks to Student-Made OK State I was given the opportunity to do so. Through this program, I have been able to market, sell, and produce my products to share with the world!”
Jini Moua, Junior, Apparel Design and Technology

Your support also brings us closer to sending a student creator to the Scale Student-Made Conference this February at Michigan State University—an opportunity that can shape their skills, confidence, and future in entrepreneurship.

Thank you for believing in OSU’s student makers. With one week to go, we invite you to share our project within your network to help us finish strong!

PhilantroPete & Student-Made: Week 4

November 14, 2025

We’re closing out Week Four and have now raised $4,400 toward our $10,000 goal!

Since launching Student-Made on September 2, we have added 15 student creators that have earned $6,000 through their handmade products, supported by six student managers who keep operations running each day. Your generosity is giving OSU students real, hands-on experience in entrepreneurship and helping them turn creativity into opportunity.

Your support also brings us closer to sending a student creator to the Scale Student-Made Conference this February at Michigan State University—an experience that can shape their business, confidence, and future.

Thank you for believing in Student-Made and for sharing our project with your network!

Project Student-Made & The Riata Center: Week 3

November 06, 2025

As week three of Project Student-Made draws to a close, we are extremely excited to announce Riata Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship's Project Student-Made has raised $4,300!

This week, I want to share the current Oklahoma State Student-Made statistics!

Since our September 2 launch, 13 OSU student creators have collectively raised $6,000 through their own handmade products. Supported by six student managers who keep daily operations on track, these students are gaining hands-on experience in entrepreneurship and teamwork—skills made possible by donor support.

We are sincerely grateful for your generosity and continued belief in Student-Made OSU. Your support provides students with meaningful, hands-on experience in entrepreneurship—helping them design, produce, and sell their own products. Over the next three weeks, we invite you to share our project within your network to help broaden its reach and impact.

Project Student-Made, Week Two!

November 04, 2025

We’re two weeks in and already 37% of the way to our $10,000 goal!

Each gift helps OSU student entrepreneurs bring their ideas to life—creating and selling their own products through Student-Made pop-up shops and online sales. Your support provides the tools, confidence, and real-world experience they need to turn creativity into opportunity.

If we reach our goal, two Student-Made creators will attend the Scale Student-Made Conference this February at Michigan State University—an incredible opportunity to learn, grow, and connect with fellow student makers nationwide.

Thank you for helping our students dream big and build something of their own.

Riata & PhilantroPete: Week One

We would like to give a quick update on Week One as it draws near.  We are incredibly excited to announce Project Student-Made has already raised $2,150, 21% of our goal. We are amazed at the generosity of our donors as Riata will be holding our annual Student Innovation Expo Competition next Friday, October 31st, right here in the Riata Center.

For Project Student-Made, we are dedicated to raising awareness and funds to better support our OSU student entrepreneurs who compete in our competitions and participate in Student-Made, selling their very own products to the OSU and Stillwater community!

We are deeply grateful to all who have donated—your support means so much to the students who participate in our programming.  And as we progress forward over the next four weeks, please feel free to share our project with others in your network.
