Fall 2025-CEHS Ambassadors
Fall 2025 - College of Education and Human Sciences Ambassadors
Your support helps create a sense of belonging and academic confidence for first- and second-year students in the College of Education & Human Sciences. Our Ambassadors are a dedicated group of student leaders who mentor their peers, helping them navigate the transition into college life, connect with campus and professional resources, and stay focused on their goals. Through one-on-one guidance, professional development, and peer support, Ambassadors foster an inclusive community where every student feels seen, supported, and equipped to succeed. By giving today, you invest in student success, leadership development, and a stronger, more connected college community. As always, thank you all for being so loyal and true, and Go Pokes!
Purpose Statement
We are a selective group of 66 students from majors across Aviation, Education, Health Sciences, Design and Merchandising, and Human and Community Services. As scholars, leaders, and mentors, we share a passion for supporting student success. While Ambassadors have previously contributed more than 4,800 volunteer hours and worked closely with First Year Seminar classes, our current focus is guiding sophomores through their third semester at Oklahoma State University. Each week, we meet with students in class and connect with them through one-on-one meetings, consistent communication, and community-building events. By serving as positive role models and reliable mentors, we help sophomores navigate the challenges of their second year with confidence and stay on track to reach their full potential.
Our mission is to guide and support sophomores in the College of Education and Human Sciences, as well as students in the P.L.A.C.E. living-learning program, during this pivotal stage of their journey. Through one-on-one mentorship, steady communication, and engaging activities, our ambassadors provide a personable connection that helps students feel supported and stay on track. While sophomores remain our focus, we also engage with freshmen to create a welcoming environment and lay the foundation for their success at OSU.
To strengthen our impact, ambassadors participate in training sessions and earn certifications that sharpen our skills as mentors. With your generosity, we can expand these efforts, gain additional tools, and fund events that build community and celebrate student milestones. Every contribution helps us continue the tradition of encouraging, guiding, and recognizing students as they grow through their college experience. We are deeply grateful for your support, and as always, Go Pokes!
