SHPE OKSTATE: Paving the Way for the Next Generation
The Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) at Oklahoma State University are dedicated to empowering Hispanic students in STEM by providing professional development, mentorship, and community outreach opportunities. Our organization fosters a strong support system for students pursuing careers in engineering and technology, equipping them with the resources and connections needed to succeed in both academic and professional settings.
Through networking events, leadership workshops, and industry mentorship, SHPE OSU helps students gain valuable experience and exposure to career opportunities. We also engage in outreach programs to inspire younger generations to explore STEM fields and promote diversity within the industry.
To continue offering these opportunities, we are raising funds to support student participation in national and regional conferences, leadership programs, and site visits to local engineering and construction firms. These experiences allow our members to connect with industry professionals, attend career fairs, and develop skills that will shape their futures. Contributions will also help us organize on-campus meetings, bring in guest speakers, and expand our impact within the OSU community.
