Who we are!

We are Cowboy Bass Fishing- 

The Oklahoma State Bass Fishing Team is a legacy college fishing program, with national championships in 2012 and 2019. As of this year, our membership has expanded drastically to 50+ members. Bass fishing is our team's uniting passion. This passion takes us nationwide, with tournaments from California to Maryland. We are striving to secure our ability to tournament fish effectively for many years to come, as well as strengthen our team now. We thank you for your help with that!

Tournaments-

As a team, we fish multiple tournament trails, including the Oklahoma Bass Nation College series, Association of Collegiate Anglers series, Bassmaster College series, Collegiate Bass Trail of Texas, and the Major League Fishing College Series.

Alumni-

Oklahoma State Fishing has some heavy-hitting Alumni such as Zack Birge (MLF Pro) and James Elam (MLF Pro).

So far this season!

This past season was a great one for our anglers. On the Collegiate trail, Austin Russell and Kaden Abmeyer placed second at the Lake of the Arbuckles in August.  Nevan Osburn placed second on the Potomac River in early September and 5th on Lake of the Arbuckles.

Homecoming- 

Cowboy Fishing will have a wrapped boat in the Sea of Orange Homecoming Parade during America's Greatest Homecoming! We will also have a booth set up during Walkaround. Come say hi and buy a hat!

Alumni Fundraiser Tournament-

We host a fundraiser tournament open to anyone each spring and fall semester! This spring, our tournament was on Skiatook Lake on March 7th. Be on the lookout for more details on the fall alumni tournament!
