HACU 40th Annual Leadership Conference

A National Gathering Where Future Leaders Come Together

OUR GOAL: Each year, students from across the United States gather at the HACU leadership conference to learn from experienced professionals, attend workshops, and build meaningful connections. The 2026 conference will take place October 31 – November 2 in Chula Vista, California, bringing together students who are committed to growing as leaders and shaping the future of their communities.

Opening Doors to Careers, Mentorship, and Opportunity

WHAT WE COULD EARN: The HACU conference is designed to help Hispanic students move forward in their academic and professional journeys. Through workshops, networking events, and career sessions, students gain exposure to internships, scholarships, fellowships, and leadership programs offered by universities, government agencies, and private organizations. These opportunities help students discover new paths and build connections that can guide their future careers.

Aligned with Oklahoma State University’s Mission to Prepare Leaders

ALIGNMENT WITH CORE VALUES: Oklahoma State University and HACU share a commitment to preparing students for persistence, growth, and lifelong learning. Participating in this conference strengthens OSU’s mission by allowing students to develop leadership skills, expand their perspectives, and engage with professionals who are shaping the future of higher education and industry.
