OSU Strategic Communications Club (Strat Comm Club)
The Oklahoma State University Strategic Communications Club (Strat Comm Club) is a student-led organization dedicated to preparing future communication professionals through hands-on learning, industry exposure and leadership development.
Strat Comm Club actively builds industry connections by hosting site visits to leading advertising agencies and public relations firms in Tulsa and Oklahoma City. These experiences provide members with insight into agency culture.
In addition to agency visits, the club organizes professional development workshops, including résumé reviews, portfolio critiques, free professional headshots and mock interview sessions to help prepare SMSC students for the job market. We also host informational sessions and industry panel discussions featuring communication professionals, alumni and recruiters who share career advice, internship opportunities and emerging industry trends.
