Transforming the OSUIT Campus Through Placemaking!

Placemaking is the intentional design of physical spaces to strengthen identity, foster connection, and create meaningful experiences. The Campus Distinction Project leverages placemaking to transform the OSUIT Quad into a visible, liveable expression of the hands-on, hard working, tech driven community that thrives on our campus. Through iconic landmarks, large-scale campus branding, murals, statuary, landmark letters, and public art, the project will establish the Quad as a gathering space that celebrates creativity, technical excellence, and school pride. More than beautification, these elements will serve as recognizable symbols of OSUIT’s past, present, and future while enhancing the student experience and giving every Cowboy that's ever called OSUIT home yet another thing to be proud of.
