Bataan Memorial Death March Fundraising

Approximately 40 members are currently training to honor the

lives and sacrifices of those who lost their lives during the Bataan

Death March by participating in the Bataan Memorial Death March

on March 20, 2027. The event, held at White Sands Missile Range

in New Mexico, challenges participants to complete a demanding

26.2-mile course while commemorating the courage, endurance,

and sacrifice of the American and Filipino service members who

endured the original Bataan Death March during World War II.

While approximately 40 members are participating in the training

program, only 25 will have the opportunity to travel to New

Mexico and compete in the memorial march. This philanthropy

project will help raise funds to support the team's travel and

participation expenses, allowing these 25 members to represent

our organization while honoring the legacy of those who came

before us. The Bataan Team is a student organization open to all students.
