We participate in campus wide and community wide activities, attend national and regional conferences while fostering a family of like-minded individuals seeking to make a difference. Our overall goal is to teach our members how to care for the land and leave the world better than we found it.
The annual meeting of the Students of Agronomy, Soil, and Environmental Sciences (SASES) is a wonderful opportunity for Agronomy Club members to learn recent groundbreaking discoveries in agricultural research, get insight into industry, and to network with students, professors, and professionals from around the country. The annual meeting will be held in Portland, OR, with future meetings being held at a rotating cast of different major U.S. cities. Members will participate in tours of agriculture in the surrounding areas, competitions in quiz bowl, crops judging, networking events, and a career fair.
