The OSU Animal Relief Fund was established after deadly tornadoes came through Oklahoma in 2013. Just a few years later, an EF3 tornado traveled through Sulphur, Oklahoma and resulted in several severe animal injuries. Seven horses from that area were treated by the OSU Veterinary Medical Hospital at no cost to owners.
The hospital staff treats victims from many storms with their patients ranging from wildlife such as turtles and chickens to family pets like cats and dogs.
The OSU Animal Relief Fund covers the cost of hospitalization, diagnostic evaluation, and medical & surgical treatment. When people have lost their homes, maybe even their livelihood, it is a comfort to know that the OSU Veterinary Medical Hospital can provide the care their animals need without adding another burden to the family. This is all thanks to donors like you.

The Animal Relief Fund was established in 2013 after devastating tornadoes occurred across Oklahoma.
The months of April and May average 39 tornadoes every season. Thousands of animal's lives are affected by these tornadoes and are in need of medical care.
Without your support, we could not help animals that are affected by tornadoes. We have been able to treat 89 animals through the OSU Animal Relief Fund.
Since establishment, the Animal Relief Fund has provided nearly $141,000 in care.
Oklahoma has experienced tornado wind speeds up to 295 mph causing devastation to property, humans and animals.
