Oklahoma State University takes acts of sexual violence extremely seriously and believes that 1 victim is 2 many. The university invites all members of the campus community to be part of the effort to maintain a safe and productive environment in which to live, learn, and be successful by committing to end sexual violence. It is important for members of our community to understand and receive consent, intervene by being an active bystander when necessary, and support victims of sexual violence. The 1 is 2 Many program at Oklahoma State University aims to reduce the incidents of sexual violence at Oklahoma State University through on- and off-campus collaborations, student leadership initiatives, social norming campaigns, and prevention education opportunities that raise awareness by promoting effective consent, teaching intervention techniques, reframing the campus culture, and supporting victims.
1 is 2 Many is a part of Student Support and Conduct and is overseen by one full time employee, the Coordinator, with assistance from an undergraduate student intern for 10-12 hours per week and a Student Graphic Design and Marketing Assistant for 15 hours per week. Beginning next year, 1 is 2 Many will add a graduate teaching assistant to its team. 1 is 2 Many also engages students in many ways, including a Student Advisory Board, Peer Educators, and Student Victim Advocates.

1 is 2 Many is raising funds for a variety of initiatives that contribute to sexual violence prevention within the OSU community. Within 1 is 2 Many, there are many focuses: support and resources for victims, education and prevention for faculty, staff, and students, and opportunities for student leaders to impact the campus community. To make the most impact with funds raised from the OSU community, this project is engaging all of our programs through a multifaceted approach.
