Our Crowdfunding Groups
The National Student Advertising Competition is the premier college advertising competition that provides more than 2,000 college students the real-world experience of creating a strategic advertising/marketing/media campaign for a corporate client. Students develop a marketing plan and then pitch their work to advertising professionals at the district, semi-final, and national levels. This year, OSU’s NSAC team had the privilege of working with the corporate client – Tai Pei, which is a Asian frozen foods brand.
Our team traveled down to Fort Worth, Texas to compete in the three-day NSAC District 10 competition. This district is comprised of schools in Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas and Louisiana and is considered one of the largest districts. After the 18 teams were finished pitching their campaigns, we sat at the awards banquet in hopes of exciting news. We were thrilled to hear that all of our hard work led our campaign, “Tai Pei, it’s what you want,” to win First Place!
The final 19 teams competed on May 4th & 5th via AdobeConnect to qualify for Nationals. Our team had five minutes to pitch their campaign and 10 minutes to answer questions from the judges. For 24 hours, we held our breaths waiting for answers. But, we made the cut! We're one of the top 8 teams in the nation! We've won District 10, defeated semi-finals and are now moving on to nationals!
Now that we have advanced to national competition, we are asking for your support to help us get there. The NSAC national competition will be held June 7-9 in at the Roosevelt in New Orleans. We are estimating the total cost of this trip to be around $15,000, which will provide our 24 members transportation, hotel and registration. Your generous contribution supports or team's opportunity to representing OSU by presenting our campaign and networking with professionals in the advertising industry at NSAC nationals.

Donate the cost of 1 room for two nights at Nationals in New Orleans, LA. This will help 4 students have a hotel room for the entire competition.
24 students, 4 teams. Creative, Promotions, Account Services, Media. They all had a role. $15,000 divided four ways and you get $3750. This could help a whole team make it to nationals.
