Hello,
We may have not made much progress on here since the last update, but we are gathering resources to help complete our goal in creating the Honoring Ceremony for our graduating seniors!
So far, we are right on track and able to have a bit of creative freedom when choosing decorations and such.
Thank you all!
Hey guys,
sorry for the late check-in. NASA is doing all we can to secure money in order to put this event on for our seniors and your help is greatly appreciated! Please contact any NASA member if you have any questions.
Thank you everyone!
Hello everyone,
So far, we have raised $225! Thanks to you, we are starting steady on our first time using PhilanthroPete. Please let us know if you have any questions!
Hello!
I would like to thank our donor who gave $75 to help us on our way of achieving our main goal. Thanks to your generosity, we will be able to buy 5 stoles for graduation.
Our team is at work trying to raise money to help pay for these costs as well as to be able to pay for our storage unit during the summer. We have a lot going on right now, for example, we are planning what is mentioned on this platform as well as starting to look for chiefs to participate in our annual Powwow in the fall.
Once again, thank you for helping NASA!
The pamphlet will contain the keynote speakers as well as the councilmen speaking for the graduates with a separate page full of all the graduates' names who are participating. We like to have plenty of these so every family can get one while the graduates still receiving one if they so desire.
We offer stoles of many different colors and designs for our graduates to wear during our separate graduation ceremony. It ranges from the OSU logo to the most intricate Native American pattern threaded upon a quilt. These can get a bit pricey, especially when we have to get many.
We offer refreshments to every attendee that includes a drink, snacks, and desserts, sometimes small finger foods if it can be afforded.
This will help cover the costs for hiring judges for the American Indian OSU pageant held annually.
We provide a $1000 scholarship to those crowned for Mr. & Miss American Indian OSU to help them along in funding their education and as a reward for representing a community.
This will buy 5 stoles for 5 different graduates with their choice of a stole in a different pattern or color. There are around 50 graduates each year with an average size of a graduating class.
