ASHA Conference
This past weekend was the annual American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) Conference! This year it was held in Boston and our lab director and professor Dr. Kaipa presented at this conference. The conference is a great resource for students to present research on a national level, meet professionals in the field, and learn more about speech and hearing! The money raised with this project will go towards conferences like this!
Thank You Donors!
We are so excited that we have raised $475 towards our goal! These donations will allow us to continue doing research, register for conferences, and help towards travel expenses for students. Thank you to those who have donated! There are still a few more weeks of this project left, and we are excited to keep going!
OSHA Presentation
On October 13th, four members from the Language Learning Lab presented a poster at the Oklahoma Speech and Hearing Conference. For the past year the lab has been researching the effects of the pandemic on language for children born during that time. Presenting at these conferences provides students an opportunity to meet professionals in the field and learn from other researchers.
