Oklahoma Conference on Volunteerism - Awards and Recognition
Recognize Outstanding Extension Volunteers
Celebrate Extension Volunteers!

The inaugural Oklahoma Conference on Volunteerism will take place June 26-27, 2026, on the OSU campus. Our mission for the conference is to empower and equip Extension volunteers and educators to serve our communities together.
At the conference, we will recognize the impactful work already happening among Extension volunteers and educators by presenting 4 awards:
- Excellence in Volunteerism Award - will recognize a county volunteer organization/group that has demonstrated service, community impact, and civic leadership through their volunteer contributions.
- Excellence in Teamwork Award- will honor exceptional teamwork demonstrated by a partnership of two or more Extension volunteer organizations/groups who have significantly contributed to their community through collaborative service, citizenship, and impactful engagement.
- Excellence in Community Partnership Award - will honor OHCE, Master Gardeners, and 4-H Parent/Volunteer groups and their partners that have demonstrated outstanding efforts in building and sustaining partnerships to address educational or community needs within their county.
- Excellence in Volunteer Engagement Award - will recognize a county Extension educator who has strengthened their ability to engage volunteers and build the capacity of their educational program to serve more clientele.
Your gift will help us make these awards more meaningful to the recipient. Our goal is to award $1000 to each team (or individual) to be used to further their efforts —whether by expanding an existing project, launching a new initiative inspired by their work, or investing in professional development.
With your support, volunteers and educators turn recognition into results—strengthening programs, inspiring new ideas, and building stronger Oklahoma communities.
Join us in celebrating service—give today to multiply impact.

Master Gardeners
Master Gardeners are trained volunteers who share their knowledge of gardening and horticulture with their communities through education, outreach, and service projects.

$44
Clover Champion
4-H members are 4 times more likely to give back to their communities than their peers. Join our campaign and become a Clover Champion by donating $44 to help us recognize Extension volunteers who commit their Head, Heart, Hands, and Health to serving their communities.
$111
Extension Elite
The Smith Lever Act of 1914 created a national Cooperative Extension Service--making OSU Extension 111 years old this year! Become an Extension Elite giver when you donate $111 to our Extension volunteer recognition program.
$248
OHCE Rock Star
We have 248 Oklahoma Home and Community Education (OHCE) groups across the state. Be an OHCE Rock Star when you donate $248 to help us honor our Extension volunteers.
$365
Green Year Society
The number 365 represents daily care and growth--just like tending a garden. If you are a Master Gardener, or just enjoy gardening, consider joining our Green Year Society by donating $365. Your gift will help honor Extension volunteers who give back to their communities all year long.
$777
Triple Seven Star
OSU Extension has a presence in all 77 counties of Oklahoma. Just for fun, let's throw another 7 on there to reach the Triple Sevens. Donate $777 to be a Triple Seven Star who supports Extension volunteers in our 77 counties.
$1,000
Extension Volunteer Hero
Our goal is to present each winner or winning team with $1000 to use to further their project or for professional development. You would truly be an Extension Volunteer Hero if you funded one of those awards with a gift of $1000.
